Angus Stirling has had a distinguished career in the arts. He was Deputy Director of the Arts Council of Great Britain in the 1970s, and subsequently Director-General of the National Trust and non-executive Chairman of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
In 1995 he returned to painting and has built up a loyal following of collectors for his vibrant, abstracted landscapes and figures.
Passionate about exploring the relationship between music and painting, colour plays a central part in Angus’s compositions.
We are proud to have represented Angus Stirling since 2012 and had the great pleasure of hosting a near sell-out solo exhibition of his work in November 2016 at Hollywood Road Gallery.
